Senior E-commerce/Digital Marketing Strategy Lead, HP Ink and Toner Cartridges

Within HP’s Printing Business Unit, the cartridges organization is chartered to manage short and long term strategies to enable cartridge sales growth.

The WW ink and toner cartridge marketing organization is responsible for driving the sales and market share of HP Original Supplies (Ink and Toner cartridges) in the e-commerce/digital space by ensuring we deliver a best in class customer experience.

We are looking for a high energy teammate with experience in the digital/online route to market, strong analytical mindset and the ability to work at both the strategic and tactical level globally with the goal of further developing the Supplies Online initiative. This role will involve partnering with a variety of functions and teams across the globe to align and drive our strategies and promote best practices.

Job Specification:

Primary Function:

Help to define, execute and measure a comprehensive online strategy for the Ink and Toner cartridge business. Align the direct team and partners behind this vision.

Core Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Supplies Online Manager in defining, evolving, and executing the WW HP Supplies Online/Digital strategy
  • Create awareness and drive preference for HP original supplies in the online environment
  • Partner with regional teams in strategy development and tactical execution
  • Partner with internal web and campaign asset owners, specialist teams and WW partners to drive HP presence in Google and Amazon Search
  • Link strategy and execution plans to measureable business results.
  • Innovate digital targeting & personalization

Job Requirements:


  • BA or BS degree in marketing, business management, computer science or related field, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of work experience in the online digital marketing or e-commerce strategy
  • Deep knowledge of the WW search landscape across the multiple search channels. SEO, SEM/Adwords, Product Ads (PLA), Google, Baidu, Naver engines, and Amazon site search and advertising platforms.
  • Experience working in a global role balancing unique regional and country dynamics with the efficiency of globally scalable solutions
  • Supplier/Agency management experience
  • Strong understanding online & digital measurement tools and proven web analytical skills (measurement, ROI, forecasting)
  • Proactive, strategic thinking with strong collaboration and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, notably helping bridge high level strategy and tactical execution
  • Great collaborator and influencer, especially in a matrix organization
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a tenacious spirit to attack any challenge
  • Support and mentor teammates and help ensure work is fun

    Additional knowledge areas of interest:

  • Channel-lead online sales go to market (GTM) model
  • Social media technologies/platforms and content formats
  • Brand Protection strategies and technologies
  • Big Data, SQL, Python, R, and/or JSON
  • Ink and Toner Cartridge (Supplies) or similar aftermarket-based business
