Technology Partner Manager

Are you interested in managing  key service technology partners for the Services Product Management team?  DaaS is a growing business that needs to support and evaluate every technology partner we engage with.  We host and manage the service relationships with other internal teams that drive  our  DaaS  solutions to meet the contractual growth in our business.  This Technology Partner  Mgr. role will lead the strategic direction of the partner to meet the needs of our customers and achieve our business goals within the DaaS business


  • Provide leadership in supplier selection, contract development & execution, and risk mitigation.
  • Act as a consult to the technology PM in the evaluation of how the partner fits into the overall Daas Solution
  • Assure that the Business negotiated align with the HP DaaS requirements/objectives
  • Maintain accurate and timely management of enabling the partnership
  • Lead  and gather the relevant information needed to complete the process with internal organizations to HP contractual needs 
  • Work  with internal teams to provide  partner information for screening which may include financial, process mapping, technology and system requirements
  • Leads the partner enabling process by analyzing the business, financial, and risks, associated with developing and communicating creative solutions and mitigation strategies to reflect the business interests of HP Daas
  • Leads efforts to ensure key initiatives and strategies are aligned with the overall priorities of the Daas roadmap and offering
  • Builds strong internal and external relationships with high-level business executives to facilitate business decisions
  • Acts as trusted advisor to senior business execs and legal leaders in the assigned areas of responsibility

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree  in Engineering , Computer Sciences  or Technology Field
  • Typically 10+ years of customer facing  or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced university degree strongly preferred.
  • PMP certification strongly preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience in managing external partners with driven accomplishments
  • Knowledge of  processes, and practices applicable to closing non- standard contracts.
  • Understanding of HP products and service solution offerings and capabilities
  • Advanced knowledge of key business and contractual risks.
  • Proven ability to negotiate complex unit deals and driven success enabling the business
  • Ability to influence different functions and geographies and build consensus at senior levels where lines of authority may not be direct, both inside and outside HP.
  • Capable of presenting or escalating issues effectively to high-level regional and business executives.
  • Highly effective communication in both written and oral
