If you are an R&D Mechanical Engineer in Singapore, you will have a chance to:

  • Design and develop a printing system to meet requirements. Develop and analyze mathematical models of printing system to optimize performance
  • Develop test methodology, experimentation, prototype to verify design
  •  Support project planning and execute design implementation. Conduct performance and reliability testing
  • Work with cross functional teams to understand the customer needs and align on product specifications and development needs to meet the customer requirements
  •  Lead the design process to develop the product concept, architecture and design to meet the product specifications
  • Work with other functions to understand and resolve product quality and reliability issues
  • Drive root cause investigation and understanding of system level failure modes
  • Communicate and coordinate activities and development work across different functions and divisions
  • Partner closely with R&D, customer support, marketing, qualification and manufacturing teams to deliver the product
  • Lead multiple project teams of other mechanical hardware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of mechanical and thermal development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, validation, tooling and testing

Are you a high-performer? We are looking for an individual with:

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Material Science or Mechatronics
  • 4 – 6 years of prior experience is required
  • Experience or interest in mechanism design
  • Tooling and Mold fabrication knowledge will be an advantage
  • Using Model manager, Pro-Engineer or other 3D CAD software as a mechanical design tool
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience in mechanical and thermal architecture of electronics packaging design
  • Using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and thermal mock-ups to validate thermal solution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels
