College Intern - Computer Science (3 Months Internship)

If you are our College Intern - Computer Science in Singapore, you will have a chance to:

  • Participate and act as a member of Material Management solutions development team
  • Communicate with different groups related to Material Management (such as Supply Chain, Research & Development) to identify the IT solution’s business needs
  • Analyze, define and prioritize the requirements of the IT solutions
  • Design, implement/code & test solutions (Excel, Access, potentially SQL)
  • Ensure compliance with HP IT standards
  • Document solutions and process flows to ensure continuity and sustainability of the solutions
  • Interact with other IT experts to recommend pragmatic solutions to the overall Material Management environment

Are you a high-performer? We are looking for an individual with:

  • Currently enrolled in the university pursuing Computer Science or Computer Engineering  
  • Able to commit to a full time, 3 months Summer Internship starting May
  • Strong hands on experience working on SQL, VBA and Database – Mandatory
  • Basic understanding of testing tools and test scripting
  • Basics of Supply Chain and Material Management process is a plus 
  • Strong relationships attributes working with Mid-Level Level management.
  • Good communication, attitude and presentation skills required
