Executive Assistant to support the CTO & Global Head of HP Labs

We are seeking a sharp, personable, highly-organized Executive Assistant to support the CTO & Global Head of HP Labs. This position will work with several different types of people from engineers to entrepreneurs to employees to our executives and their support staff. We’re looking for someone who can take on a wide range of administrative support tasks that include (but are not limited to): heavy scheduling and calendar management, travel coordination and logistics, communication to management and company.


  • Coordinate complex calendaring and scheduling by implementing a structured calendaring system
  • Point-of-contact: be the liaison of all communications between CTO and direct reports
  • Anticipate needs and solve problems proactively 
  • Handle and prioritize requests and scheduling with competing demands 
  • True partner—be a sounding board and strategic collaborator
  • Master of travel arrangements—Coordinate highly detailed and complex global travel itineraries
  • Effectively manage relationships in a cordial and professional manner
  • Manage expense reports, filing and document retention              
  • Work with a flexible schedule – outside standard business hours and accommodating international time zones
  • Domestic travel may be required at times

  • Maintains strict confidentiality standards; absolute discretion and appropriate handling of highly sensitive information
  • Proficient in MS Office; quick and agile in learning new technologies and software
  • Tech experience preferred
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to be adaptable in changing situations 
  • Superb organizational skills with an attention to detail
  • Energetic attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to get things done
  • Partner with existing EA community
