Senior Treasury Analyst - Treasury Service and Consulting

  • Applies treasury subject matter expertise in multiple areas of specialization to contribute to treasury programs of the highest complexity
  • Communicates with senior leaders to deliver guidance and desired results for treasury programs
  • Is accountable for impact analysis of treasury initiatives and the financial and legal outcomes of programs
  • Manages treasury projects that have an impact across the organization and at multiple levels
  • Leads priority projects and provides review and recommendation on current treasury processes and technologies that facilitate operational efficiencies
  • Proposes and implements investment strategy to achieve HP’s objective of security, liquidity and yield within the framework of HP Investment policy
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with business or functional leaders as well as banking and investment service providers
  • Identifies areas for improvement to treasury processes
  • Leads multiple, complex programs simultaneously (e.g., managing external consultants, vendors, matrixed employees)
  • Develops relationships with industry professionals and/or external organizations to maintain current market trends knowledge for internal use
  • Leads or contributes to solution and strategy development on a global and/or business-wide level
  • Typically partners with internal clients at Manager or above

Education and Experience Required:

  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred
  • Typically 10+ years related experience in finance, audit, and/or accounting
  • Relevant certification (CFA) preferred

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Complete systematic understanding of Treasury processes, as well as other finance functions
  • Advanced knowledge of the regulatory environment as it relates to Treasury activities
  • Advanced communication, leadership, consulting, influence, and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional financial and business acumen
  • Excellent project management, problem solving, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to execute a project within the scope of overall strategies
  • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
