HR Systems leads and manages HP's HR Systems, Data and Technology Enablement. Human Resources recognizes us as the first stop for "the what" in systems enablement as experts in providing solutions support to complex business problems, and as the gateway to IT.

The person in this position:

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external partners. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages increasingly complex reporting and security analysis, design and implementation.
  • Consults with HR leaders to identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Contributes to priority projects that impact employees at the regional or global level and may lead projects of high complexity.
  • Provides input and conducts updates on HR Operations content and tools.
  • Develops trainings for new functionality and platform rollouts.
  • Is point of contact for and leads activities for extended team.

    Education and Experience Required:

  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 3-5 years related experience in analytical role in business or technical environments.
  • Experience with reporting or data access tools, and security analysis, design and implementation
  • Understanding of governance models and enforcement

    Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced general HR knowledge.
  • Advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
  • Prefer advanced ability to use productivity tools, HR systems and applications including Microsoft Office, Workday and query language.
  • Advanced project management skills, including planning, execution, and implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation preparation and delivery.
  • Developed financial and business acumen.
  • Developed leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and teaching.
